Studio Manager - FULL TIME
We’re looking for a Studio Manager who thrives on creating an inviting, organized, and effortlessly functional space — the kind of person who notices the little things before anyone else does. You’ll treat the studio as if it were your own home or business, anticipating needs and taking care of them without being asked.
Your role is all about making sure the studio runs seamlessly so our design team can focus on what they do best. You’ll be the friendly face that greets clients, the steady hand that keeps the sample library beautiful and accessible, and the behind-the-scenes organizer who ensures every meeting is perfectly prepared.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
What You’ll Do
Welcome clients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
Maintain the studio’s appearance, organization, and flow, ensuring it’s always ready to host clients or creative work sessions.
Keep the sample library orderly and inspiring, with materials easy to access and beautifully presented.
Prepare for client meetings, including printing materials, setting up samples, and arranging refreshments.
Respond to client inquiries promptly and send investment guides.
Handle the day-to-day operations of the studio with independence, care, and pride.
Oversee scheduling, calendar management, and client communications to ensure smooth project workflows.
Manage vendor relationships, coordinate and schedule vendor visits, and establish new trade accounts as needed.
Provide personal administrative support to the Creative Director, including handling day-to-day tasks and special projects
Qualifications:
Someone who takes initiative and thrives on anticipating needs rather than waiting for direction.
A naturally organized person with a great eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, welcoming presence.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Experience in hospitality, office management, or a client-facing role is an asset.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to think on your feet and take ownership of challenges from start to resolution.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
Capacity to handle confidential financial and client information with discretion.
Positive attitude and a natural inclination to champion change and improvement.
A valid G license and vehicle are required for this role
This role is based in our Toronto office.
If you love creating spaces where people feel taken care of and enjoy being the one who “just makes it happen,” we’d love to meet you.
